What is the 6 petal diet?

The 6-petal diet has a pretty name that ignorant people associate with flowers. In fact, every chamomile leaf is one day away from a certain mono diet, that is, the use of only one certain product type is meant.

Thanks to this nutritional system, you can lose weight quickly and easily. It turns out to be removing 500g per day, and the results for 2 cycles will be staggering - about 7 kilograms.

The essence of the diet

The 6 Petal Diet was created by Anna Johansson. He is a renowned Swedish nutritionist. Weight loss system approved by the Dietetic Association. Studies have been done that have shown that people lost 500 grams a day and sometimes up to 800 grams. At the same time, her general health remained good.

In the end, additional medical examinations were carried out on the volunteers. The results showed that the health of the program participants improved. In other words, the 6 petal diet will not only help you lose weight, it will also strengthen your body.

The duration of such a course is 6 days (hence the name of the diet). The main principle is separate nutrition, through which the slimming effect is achieved. For 6 days you need to follow different mono diets - one per day. The sequence should not be interrupted as it is an alternation of carbohydrate and protein days.

Within one day you must eat foods that belong to the same food category. The order is as follows:

  1. Fish day.
  2. Vegetable Day.
  3. Chicken Day.
  4. Grain Day.
  5. Quark day.
  6. fruit day.

To avoid consuming more calories than you need, measure portions of food every day:

  • fish - no more than 500 grams;
  • vegetables - up to 1, 5 kg;
  • meat - up to 500 grams;
  • cereals - up to 200 g;
  • cottage cheese - up to 500 grams;
  • fruits and berries - up to 1, 5 kg.

Anna Johansson recommended making a flower with 6 petals on which mono diets should be written to keep motivation going. Hence the name associated with the plant appeared, although flowers and herbs are not actually used. You can hang such a homemade chamomile in a prominent place and look at it every time the probability of failure is high. Tearing off a petal every day makes it much easier to endure a hunger strike.
